A new visionary research and educational foundation seeks a world without age-related disease and deleterious aging.
There is worldwide focus on treating age-related diseases, but our group is joining world-class aging researchers to hone new treatment developments into understanding and attacking not only the pathobiology of aging, but its underlying causes. The Gilgamesh Foundation is an educational and scientific research foundation with an overreaching aim of opening doors to the possibilities of diagnosing and curing age-related disease, such as Alzheimer disease, diabetes, macular degeneration, arthritis, Parkinson disease and most of all cancer. And while this work would benefit entire populations and save health care systems and care givers the world over, we are all critically under-funded in these laudable efforts. The search for earlier diagnoses and effective cures is what drives OUR Research Foundation.
